MAIN CONFERENCE: AN ESOTERIC QUEST IN SWITZERLAND
All participants will be staying at the Monte Verità Conference and Culture Center for the four nights of our Main Conference. All of our plenary and workshop sessions will also take place there, mainly in the lovely, terraced, Sala Balint.
Accommodations at Monte Verità
Monte Verità sits atop the hills above Ascona, with panoramic views of Lago Maggiore and the Ticino valleys. Deeply tranquil and situated in an expansive park that invites endless exploring, the grounds at Monte Verità include a Zen garden, a tea garden and delightful tea house.
There is a five-minute walk uphill from the parking area to the front entrance of Monte Verità.
Monte Verità offers several guesthouses, which include the historic Bauhaus Hotel – built between 1927-1929 by architect Emil Fahrenkamp – and the 1909 Art Nouveau-style Villa Semiramis, built by Turin-born architect Anselmo Secondo. Nearly all guestrooms provide views of the lake; many also offer generous balconies.
Our guesthouses have elevators. All rooms provide free Wifi.
*Temperatures in September in Ascona tend to be comfortable; however, a small number of our rooms at Monte Verità do not have air conditioning. Be sure to register early if you prefer a room with AC, although we cannot guarantee it.

PRE-CONFERENCE EXPERIENCE AT ERANOS
We have two accommodation options during our Pre-Conference: staying in the guesthouses at Eranos itself, or at the Romantik Hotel Castello Seeschloss in town in Ascona.
Our Pre-Conference presentations will take place in the meeting room at Eranos. We’ll be providing transportation between the Hotel Seeschloss and Eranos for participants staying in town.
Eranos
To stay at Eranos is to step back in time to the world of C.G. Jung, a chance to unplug and be in the stillness of this historic, intimate, retreat center on Lago Maggiore. Rooms are simply furnished, clean, comfortable and light-filled, and nestled into the surrounding woods. In keeping with the spirit of simplicity and retreat, there is no air-conditioning nor fans, nor Wifi, available at Eranos.

The Romantik Hotel Castello Seeschloss
The Romantik Hotel Castello Seeschloss is situated at the southeastern end of the Piazza di Ascona, and along the town’s lakeside promenade. Part of the hotel is housed in the well-preserved remains of an early 13th century fortified residence, surrounded by flowering gardens.
Rooms are equipped with private, en-suite bathrooms (with a shower or tub), a hairdryer and air conditioning, and offer views of either the gardens or outdoor pool. Most rooms have a balcony or terrace.
All rooms at the Seeschloss are non-smoking.
Please note that, at most times, only taxis can reach the front entrance of the hotel; there will be a 10-minute walk on cobbled streets to the edge of the old town where our coach will be able to park.
However, we will have permits that will allow us to reach the front entrance of the hotel when arriving or departing with our luggage.

The Vista Lakefront Boutique Hotel
The Vista is a lovely hotel in a 19th century building on the shores of Lago Maggiore. Its quiet and comfortable rooms are equipped with private, en-suite bathrooms, a hairdryer and air conditioning, and feature views of either the peaceful inner courtyard and gardens, or the lake and mountains.
